The next step is to determine what carcinogens are in your workplace.  Your employers in the United States are required to inform you about the hazards of any chemicals in your workplace.  Then ask your doctor what more you could do to protect yourself from those carcinogens at work.  Finally, get screened as part of a regular health care plan so that any cancer you do get can be found and treated at the earliest possible stage.  Today, most cancers can be treated if found early.
